The ketogenic diet (or keto diet, for short) is a low-carb, high-fat dietary approach that offers many health benefits. Following keto can be beneficial if you are trying to lose weight or improve your metabolic health.
This dietary approach can serve as an effective strategy in the treatment of conditions such as diabetes, cancer, epilepsy and Alzheimer’s disease, as well as some ailments associated with the digestive tract.
In this workshop you will:
- Learn the specifics of the keto diet (what it is) and when it can be used;
- Get familiar with the three step process to starting keto, plus some tips and tricks that will help you follow it;
- Identify the foods to avoid and those allowed in this type of diet, as well as some of its side effects and how to minimize them.
Participants will receive a PDF containing information and resources related to the workshop, plus recipes of delicious dishes to make at home.
